STATION SETUP

Some real nice promising photo's from Brunei.  More photo's are expected as soon as the team will arrive in Brunei.
The 4 elements Mosley TA-53M , 4 elements 5 band antenna for 10-20m up in the tower.
The house with shack and tower next-door.
From a distance with the garden in front with enough space for the other antenna's.

The team plans to run 2 stations simultaneously and bring at least 2 Elecraft K2/100 radio's with 2 amplifiers ( one will be shipped on the 22nd of October, together with the 2 Titanex verticals)

The antenna's will be a Mosley TA-53M , 4 elements 5 band antenna for 10-20m and furthermore if all goes as planned a 4-square for 40m and a Titanex 80 and 160m vertical. On the receiving side there will use a K9AY loop and some beverages for 160m. Beside SSB and CW the team will also operate RTTY and will try to do some PSK63 or PSK125.

We will operate on the above frequencies and modes.

The frequencies are only a guide depending on operational factors at the time. We shall take account of the Japanese band plan when working Japan.

We will nearly always work split and will regularly announce our listening frequency.

Listen to the operator carefully. Each will give their Callsign on a regular basis and their listening frequency.

Please note that each operator has a different QSL route.

Please do not continually ask for QSL route these have been published widely.

We shall NOT work by numbers. With good operating skills and practise this is not necessary.

On digital modes please keep overs very short. We do not require details of your QTH and equipment  etc.

We MAY work some PSK towards the end of the dxpedition if time permits.

We do not plan to work RTTY on 80m as this may detract from the total QSL numbers of the CW and SSB station.

To be able to give as much as possible stations that new one on low band or rtty we will use  V8FWP on 160m,  V8FWU on 80m and V8FDM on rtty. All other bands and modes are possible with all other  callsigns.

This page will be updated as soon as more/other information will becomes available.
